What does EPISC Consulting do?+
EPISC is a full-service digital marketing agency that has been helping small to medium businesses master their online presence since 2014. We focus on the channels that drive measurable growth: search engine marketing (SEM), social media advertising and SEO, alongside web development, content marketing, conversion rate optimisation, email marketing and app store advertising.
What does EPISC stand for?+
EPISC (pronounced ee-pisk) is short for “Episcopal”, meaning “overseen by Bishops”. We are not a church; it is a nod to our founder, Matt Bishop, and to the way we work: every piece of strategy and execution is personally overseen, never outsourced.
Who will actually manage my account?+
Matt Bishop, our Managing Director, directly oversees every engagement. We do not outsource or hand work to juniors, so you get direct access to his 18 years of digital marketing experience across 25 industries and more than 20 countries.
What industries do you work with?+
We have delivered results across 25 diverse industries, including eCommerce, retail, health and fitness, education and government. We also have deep experience in restricted, heavily regulated sectors where advertising rules are strict, such as wagering, gaming, trade promotion lotteries, tobacco, supplements, and lingerie and swimwear. That breadth means we bring proven playbooks, and a knack for getting results where others struggle to even run an ad, to almost any business.
Do you work with businesses outside Australia?+
Yes. We are based in Australia but have worked with businesses across more than 20 countries. Digital marketing is global, and so are we.
How much do your services cost?+
It depends on your goals, the services involved and the scale of the work. There is no one-size-fits-all package. We scope the right approach for your situation and budget, and we would always rather start lean, prove the return, and scale what works.
Do you lock clients into long contracts?+
No. We work on whatever basis suits you, whether that is an ongoing monthly retainer or a one-off, ad-hoc project. We earn the relationship through results, not paperwork, so our aim is for you to stay because the work pays for itself.
What's the difference between SEM, SEO and social advertising?+
In short: SEM (paid search) captures people already searching for what you sell; SEO earns organic visibility that compounds over time; and social advertising creates demand by reaching the right audiences while they scroll. Most businesses get the best results combining all three, and we can advise on the right mix.
